This position is for an IVR Developer with experience developing dynamic speech-enabled VXML applications for the healthcare industry.

Candidates must have experience with integrating to backend host systems via MQ, JDBC, HTTP and screen-scraping (host emulation).
The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and will work closely with business, IT staff and management to deliver voice self-service applications that meet the needs of our business partners.

Business Analyst - Higher Education Multiple Positions

We have the following exciting opportunity with our client in Ithaca NY, Please review and let me know your interest and availability.
This would be starting in September, 2011 for a long term engagement. This is general BA work; This is mostly project-specific work, for large capital projects.
We want someone who
- Has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as facilitation skills
- Has experience in eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements
- Understands and uses process maps, use cases, and other diagramming and documentation tools as appropriate
- Is equally comfortable working with functional SMEs and with developers
- Ideally is familiar with the culture of Higher Education and has experience in installation of existing software (rather than just development)
- Ideally has some data analysis experience
- Can be on site 4-5 days per week throughout the duration of the contract

The Business Analyst role includes the following responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business and technical staff to ensure that both groups understand the requirements, alternatives, and solutions; and that discussion and documentation of requirements, alternatives, and solutions are accurate, clear, and complete.
• Significant interaction with the technical designers and developers to convey and explain the business requirements and any technical considerations/requirements, and to validate the design/development work.
• Perform systems, applications, and data analysis
• Facilitate discussion to assist decision-making in cases where known technical constraints or strategies might have influence.
• Prioritize across multiple and simultaneous activities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across diverse campus constituencies. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years strong analytical experience in developing, implementing, maintaining and upgrading complex application systems.
• 5-7 years successful experience working in a highly complex policy and organizational environments.
• 5-7 years successful experience with business analysis, process mapping, design of complex systems and processes, with a demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into system requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing methodologies and approaches.
• Proven ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written, oral, group, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills. • Strong organizational skills, and close attention to detail.
• Proven ability to prioritize and schedule assigned duties, and to multi-task effectively on a variety of tasks.
• Good working knowledge of desktop PC applications, including MS Office, Visio, Excel, MS Project.
