QA Analyst - Richmond VA
QA Analyst
Responsible for assisting in the analysis/design/development of testing/quality processes.
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the preparation of test plans, test scenarios and test cases,
Maintaining a link of test scenarios to system requirements,
Conducting testing to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design,
Reviewing defects and assessing product quality,
Consulting with project team and application support groups regarding testing.
Performs data verification and testing
Performs other duties as assigned:
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
3+ years experience as a QA Analyst required
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
Excellent Time Management Skills
Must be a self-starter and able to hit the ground running
Experience with SQL required
Experience with SQL Server 2005 a plus but not required
Knowledge of Test Director required
Experience with software development methodologies

QA - ClearQuest Migration
We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience working on ClearQuest Migration.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements Clear Quest.
Able to plan & execute migrations from approximately 25 user databases into ClearQuest Enterprise database.
Able to work independently to complete this task while leveraging extended team for infrastructure questions/concerns.
Has ClearQuest certification from IBM.
Contract duration: 5 months
Location: Louisville KY

Responsible for assisting in defining and managing the project requirements for integration projects. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Assists in the definition of the functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system, and acts as a liaison between the application development and data warehousing team. Assists with system requirements definition, design, testing, training and implementation support. Applies use of tools to define requirements and documentation. Facilitates the identification of potential gaps in available data and collaborates with both teams to determine best means for acquiring the data needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in computer science or information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 or more years of systems analysis experience
Excellent analytical, PC and problem solving skills
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
