Test Architect

I'm looking for a Test Architect for one of our direct client, the start date will be 1st Oct and tentative end date of 12/31/2010. The role will be strictly a TA role initially, though it will morph into an enterprise test lead type role during execution. Location anywhere in US, though Richmond VA would be most preferred. One big plus as a candidate should have is experience with EDI messaging, especially HIPA 4010A & 5010.

1. Recent experience in a test leadership role as an architect (more than one project, typically several).
2. Direct interaction with Sr. level management & program stakeholders as an "influence-maker", not an order taker or participant.

3. Experience managing multiple testing phases (SIT, UAT, EtE) on a large scale, enterprise wide program across multiple applications areas & business units.

4. The candidates have upwards of 10+ years experience in a test architect capacity.
5. The candidates distinguished themselves when discussing their depth of knowledge and breadth of experience.
6. They had lead from the initial stages of a program all testing strategy work, moving into an actionable plan that covered all based along the quality spectrum.





A Test Architect is a:



Seasoned testing professional with experience establishing testing from the ground up on large-scale, enterprise wide projects/programs
Successfully engineered/developed testing strategy, design and planning for said programs
Managed concurrently efforts in the system test, UAT and End-To-End space.
Apply corporate standards to the program
Developed a defect management process when one does not exist, considering a diverse group of teams with different levels of maturity.
Understands test data and how to acquire and apply TDM principles to testing
Expert in Regression and Automation strategy and execution
Leverage "tools" when needed
Has experience interfacing, influencing and "standing up" to Senior Leadership (both IT and the Business)!
OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION SKILLS are a must.
