Busines Analyst - Healthcare : Richmond VA
Overview:
• This is a pure Business Analyst role that will be managed in the IT organization.
• Formulates and defines business change scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
• Recommend creative process solutions to business problems impacting a functional area.
• Will be deployed to work with Operational and Product Development units to define business requirements for major system initiatives.
• Will work under supervision of Technical Product Director and Technical Product Managers.
Qualifications:
• Typically requires BS/BA degree and 4 plus years experience.
• Works under general supervision.
• Experience performing research and analysis activities systematically to develop well supported, cost effective recommendations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of process management as related to identifying the key drivers and measures of success for the business.
• Demonstrated knowledge of process simulation and workflow analysis and modeling tools.
• Relevant healthcare business knowledge and/or knowledge of the Disease Management Industry is a HUGE plus for this position.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
• Analysis of business and user needs in order to document business requirements (includes requirements, workflows, process flows, and other business modeling documentation).
• Lead business requirement development sessions.
• Interface with application development technical resources to convey and represent business needs as system enhancements are developed
