Call or Contact Center technology background for the VSS Test Architect



- Edify IVR legacy IVR platform
- Any web based voice application using voice xml and understanding IVR technology application designs(menu, prompts, voice files, etc)
- Chordiant Desktop which will be used as the call center service rep main application that will receive the VSS calls transferred in from the Verizon call routing in the cloud
- Knowledge of CTI screen pops and utilization of IVR logic to pass data to Genesys call routing and CTI data screen pops
- Knowledge of Call Center IVR metrics and reporting logic that will be in VSS application
- Knowledge of end to end testing of front ended to backend host systems using web services or RPCs.
Test Architect VSS
§ Contribute to Test Strategy
§ Develop SIT Test Approach (including Regression Testing Approach)
§ Review / Understand Requirements, Data, Backend Systems, VUI and Design for understanding in relation to test preparation
§ Accountable for development of test cases and scripts and data used to test the cases
§ Accountable for mapping test cases back to requirements
§ Responsible for the management of test prep and execution phases including management of the offshore test team and onshore test engineers.
§ Support of UAT and DEV teams as required in relation to testing.
§ Implementation of Defect Mgmt process and management of Defects across test phases.
§ Accountable for the production of Metrics and Status reports at a frequency to be determined by the project.
§ Definition of Test Passes and Cycles for each Test Phase under QA Ownership.
§ Assist in developing Testing Work Plan.
§ Maintenance and Management of Testing Work plan.
§ Development of Test Execution Plan which outlines the execution approach and schedule for running test passes and cycles.
§ Assignment of Test Resources to tasks during Test Preparation and Execution Phases.
- Provide data and test cases to External Vendor for Performance Testing.
- Experience with automated testing and performance testing tools (Rational Robot, Empirix Hammer.. etc)
- Experience with Rational Testing products (Clear Quest, Test Manager.. etc)
